Located in Lumshnong, 126 kms from Shillong on the National Highway to Silchar in Meghalaya, the plant is the largest in the North-East with the highest capacity of 0.6million tonnes. The plant will use state-of-the-art dry process rotary kiln technology and, initially, will manufacture high-grade Ordinary Portland Cement. In future, the plant will also produce Portland Pozzolona Cement and all other specialty grades required for Railways, Hydel projects etc.
