Existing Manufacturing Facilities

1) DRI Kiln
The company has successfully commissioned both of its DRI Kiln Capacity 350 TPD each and they We are manufacturing high quality Sponge Iron with FEM 85 % by using high quality Iron Ore and washed coal with higher FC and low ash percentages

2) Power Plant
The Company has successfully installed its first power plant of 25 MW and it is now operating at full capacity. The power plant requires continuous supply of water for which the company has successfully installed a 9 KM pipe line from the intake point in the Hirakud reservoir to the reservoir in the plant within a record time frame of 7 months. The power produced is being used in the rolling mill and in the SMS shop and the company is exporting its surplus power to Gridco which is adding substantial revenue to the company.

3) Coal Washery
During the current financial year the company has installed a state of art Coal Washery with heavy media technology which is one of the most unique in the country and this has enabled the company to use the low grade coal which is locally available. Washed coal is being used by DRI Plant and the meddling and rejects is used by the power plant which ensures substantial savings to the cost of production and good quality products.

4) SMS Plant
The company has successfully commissioned its induction furnaces and two strand billet caster. We are making special quality of billets and blooms of various sizes and these billets and blooms are in heavy demand across the country which has ensured higher realization than our competitors. We are also making special quality of steel for premium structural which is utilized by the power industries and has a very high demand.

5) Rolling Mill
We have commissioned our Rolling Mill in the current Financial Year and within three months of commissioning the Rolling Mill we have already started capturing the markets of Orissa and selling our products under the brand name of 'SEL THERMEX TMT BARS’.

The Company has been awarded the ISO certification. The company is maintaining a strict check on the quality which has enabled it to fetch higher premium in the market.

The company is implementing various project as under which are expected to be completed in the next 12 to 18 months.

1. 200000 - 260000 tonnes DRI Kiln annum by using pre-heating technology.
2. 20 MW - 60 MW Captive Power Plant
3. 30000 MVA Ferro Alloys plant.
4. Increase the SMS capacity from 2.5L to 3L.

The company also plant to install Arc furnace and AOD Plant to manufacturing specialty Steel for re-use in the automobile sector, Power sector and exports the same.
