Realizing the potential of emerging business opportunities, Shyam Group has tapped the growing ferro-alloy industry and set up Shyam Century Ferrous Limited in Brynihat, Meghalaya, in 2000. This plant was the first to set up 18 MVA submersible Arc Furnaces for the production of 15,000 MT of ferro-silicon, indispensable for steel manufacture. Shyam Century Ferrous Limited has also a Captive Power Plant.
